Eight Limbs Of Yoga - the reality of Ashtanga Yoga
Asthanga Yoga has become one of the most popular yoga sequences in the west and often many newbies to Yoga have their first session in this modern approach to Yoga.
This workshop removes that first modern layer of understanding and provides the ancient reality of Ashtanga Yoga and its true meaning from traditional Yoga and the scriptures. Ashtanga is in fact merely ONE part of the phenomenal art of Yoga and translates into Eight limbs of yoga and these eight limbs (or steps) will be covered in this workshop.
We will conduct a theoretical talk for 60 min and finish the session with a 60 min soft practice to open up our "limbs" and take some steeper steps in our Sadhana (yoga journey).
